Hutchinson Police Commission Minutes
The Hutchinson Police Commission held a meeting on Tuesday June 21, 2020 at the Hutchinson Police Station.
Present at the meeting were, Commissioner Kim Pearson and Chief Tom Gifferson.
Call the Meeting to Order:
There was not a quorum to pass action items.

Staffing Issues:
Chief Gifferson informed the Commission Officer Greg Nadeau had retired.
Chief Gifferson updated the Commission on the progress of the Communication Specialist hiring process.
Chief Gifferson updated the Commission on the progress of Communication Specialist Amber Cross.
Union Update:
Chief Gifferson informed the Commission that the City Council had approved the contract and has been signed by the
officers.
Chief Gifferson informed the Commission that the sergeants had cast their ballots to decide on representation and
they had voted to unionize no date set for negotiations.
