I. Call to Order
Meeting was called to order at 12:01 PM.
II. Approve Agenda
III. Authorize appraisal on Cenex Site
Discussion of need for an appraisal of the site. A developer is considering a project for the site
and may seek to purchase it in the near future.
M/S/P: Czmowski, Block to authorize obtaining an appraisal of the Cenex site at a cost of $1,000.
Passed unanimously.
IV. Authorize Out of State Travel
Staff reported that the TigerPath Skilled Workforce initiative has been chosen to be showcased at
the Mid-America Economic Development Council’s (MAEDC) Best Practices Conference in
Milwaukee in mid-July.
The Site Selector firm Ady Advantage is hosting a panel discussion entitled “Best Practices in
Talent Strategies” and has selected Hutchinson to participate.
M/S/P: Christensen, Cannon to authorize out-of-state travel for staff. Passed unanimously.
V. Other Business
Staff updated the Board on a business prospect for the industrial park.
