11-07-1973 CCMSPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING NOVEMBER 7, 1973 Mayor Black called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. Present were Aldermen Alrick, Westlund, Lueneburg and Mayor Black. Absent was Alderman Linder. Also -present were Administrative Assistant Mealev and DeiDuty Citv Clerk Dorothv Sm th. Deputy City Clerk Dorothy Smith presented the tally of votes at the City Election of November 6, 1973 as follows: Total number of votes cast: First precinct 390 Second precinct 294 Third precinct 356 Fourth precinct 391 Fifth precinct 351 1,782 VOTES FOR: First Second Third Fourth Fifth Total MAYOR - 2 years D. We, the undersigned Canvassing Board, as a result of said canvass, do find and certify that the following candidates were duly elected to their respective offices by the majority votes of the people. Black Milton Lueneburg Paul Ackland Paul Haag In further business Alderman Westlund moved that the League of Women Voters, First National Bank, Citizens Bank, and First State Federal Savings and Loan be sent a letter thanking them for their assistance in the display of voting machines prior to the election. Alderman Alrick seconded and all present voted aye. The motion was declared passed. There being no further business to come before the Council, adjournment was at 1:20 P.M.
