01-19-1960 PCM cHUTCHINSON PLANNING COMMISSION Minutes January 19, 1960 The Hutchinson Planning Commission met in re=gular session at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, January 18, 1960, at the City Hall. The following were present: Bretzke, Hegdal, Hoel, Torgrimson, Powers, S•earns, Thompson. Minutes of the November 16 and December 21 moetings were approved subject to the following correction in the November minutes. The first sentence of paragraph four should be corrected to r=ead: "The Frank Rutz and Dudley Dell ong petition instead of 'Vhe Frank A. DelongDs petition - - - ." The first sentence of the motion should also be corrected accordingly to read: "- - - the Frank Rutz and Dudley Delong petition - -," instead of "the Frank A. Delong petition - ­" Mr. Hegdal reported that the Zoning Commdttee was not prepared to make their report at this meeting. Dr. Bretzke requested that the regular February meeting be a joint meeting for discussing the Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Committee was asked to deter- mine who should be invited to this meeting. Dr. Thompson and Mr. Hoel reviewed t►eir excellent Trailer Ordinance Proposal. After due consideration, it was agread that I'he committee would discuss the proposed ordinance with the City At tc)rney anc' request that copies of the final draft be submitted to Dr. Bretzke a week prior to the next regular Planning Commission meetings After considerable discussion regarding the F,roposal by the Catholic Church to annex one-half of their property to the west city limits, the following motion was made by Mr. Noel, seconded by Dr. Thompscn, and unanimously carried: "The City Engineer should determine where, future roads should be located in this area and report back with a map to the Planning Commission. Dr. Bretzke will then call a special meeting for further discussion. (lt, was felt this could be completed prior to the Council meeting schedulied for Monday, January 25. Dr. Bretzke will also contact City Attorney regarding legal aspects of this snnexatic?n.)" Mr. Powers submitted to the Secretary a preliminary plat of the Southview additions Mrs. Stearns and Mr. Torgri-son were assigned to study this preliminary plata There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
