SEPTEMBER 19, 1966
The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Planning Commission was called to order
by Chairman Curt Schafer at 5:00 P.M., September 19, 1966, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall. Present were Dr. A. J. Thompson, Floyd Hoel, Clinton
Tracy, Harry Hanson, Gordon Bublitz, and Engineers Josephson and Wilson.
Absent were Lloyd Torgrimson and Cal Bonniwell.
Minutes of the regular meeting of August 15, 1966, were approved upon motion.
REQUEST FOR VARIANCE N0, 602 - Elton Lueck - Variance in floor -area ratio and
set -back requirements for 3 -stall garage at 94 -5th Avenue NW.
Motion was made by Clinton Tracy, seconded by Gordon Bublitz that the Planning
Commission recommends to the City Council that this request be granted as a
variance in floor -area ratio, with the front line of the garage to be in line
with the porch of the neighbor's house. Motion carried.
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING. Engineer Wilson reported on the planning loan applica-
tions filed for the southwest storm sewer area and sanitary sewer in the south-
west area of Hutchinson.
General discussion of requirements to qualify for these loans.
Gordon Bublitz and Dr. Thompson suggested making a recommendation to the City
Council that funds be appropriated in the 1967-1968 budget to start planning
for the southwest storm sewer.
Engineer Wilson was asked to present a report of what constitutes the southwest
storm sewer area at a special meeting of the Planning Commission at 5:00 P.M.,
Monday, September 26, 1966.
Motion was made, seconded and carried to adjourn at J5:40.
