JUNE 21, 1971
At $:45 P.M. Chairman Linder declared that for lack of a quorum, the meeting
could not be called to order, but that in view of the several persons present
with business to present to the Commission, the members present would hear them
and hold a special meeting to resolve the questions.
Members present: M. Tudor, L. Linder, T. Cone. Absent: Tracy, Kiland, Jensen.
Also present: Administrative Assistant Mealey; Engineer Priebe; Building Official
Schmeling.
Gayle Wick presented a request for variance to build an extension to his garage
which would come within three feet of the property line in violation of the
zoning ordinance. Drawings and plans were submitted and considered.
Mr. Roy Madson presented a request to construct a storage garage of five stalls,
wood frame 24' x 64' in Waller's Addition in the Northeast section of the City
zoned R-1.
Joe Unglaub presented a preliminary plan for installing car wash operations
in conjunction with the Shell Station on Highway 7 W in an effort to determine
whether to continue with the plan.
Engineer Priebe briefly outlined a suggested street plan for the Northwest
area in conjunction with the Country.Club.
Chairman Linder stated that a special meeting would be called for the following
day.
