Martin and S. Andersen all objected to the rezoning on the basis that once the property is rezoned, there is no assurance that an apartment dwelling would not be built. They were assured' and reassured that the purpose of the rezoning is to permit construction of a paved parking area for Goebel Fixture Co., who already own one of the two lots and who intend to purchase the other from the Hutchinson Utilities, for this purpose. An extensive exchange ensued during which it was pointed out that in any event, the requirements of the ordinance would not permit construction of a multiple dwelling unit because there would not be adequate space for parking.
