The regular monthly meeting of the Light & Power
Commission of the City of Hutchinson was held in the office
of the Superintendent in the Municipal Electric Plant in
the City of Hutchinson.
Dr. A. J. Thompson being the only member present the
meeting was adjourned until May 7, 1937 at 5 :00 P. M. .

A regular adjourned meeting of the Light & Power
Commission of the City of Hutchinson was held in the office
of the Superintendent in the Municipal Electric Plant in
the City of Hutchinson.
All members were present. R. W. Strohmeier was also
present.
The minutes of the meeting held April 27 were read
and approved as read.

Bids for underground
fuel storage tanks were
received
from the following firms.
Brown Steel Tank Company
Wm. Bros Boiler & Manfacturing Company
Brown Sheet Iron & Steel Company
A. Y. McDonald Manufacturing Company
After due consideration of prices and quality of
construction of tanks it was on motion duly made, seconded
and carried unanimously, decided to place with the Brawn
Steel Tank Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota an order for
two 34,000 gallon underground steel storage tanks. The
said tanks to be 11 feet in diameter by 48 feet in length
and constructed of 5/16" steel through out. However, if
prompt delivery cannot be made) the Brown Steel Tank Company
is hereby authorized to substitute steel through out
and in that event the price is to be in accordance with
their bid.
