05-19-2014 SAMSenior Advisory Board Minutes May 19, 2014 Present: Julie Jensen, Don Schroeder, Judy Klawitter, Warren Schuft, Harriet Sturges, Darlene Kenning, Barb Peterson City Staff: absent Absent: Curt Dahl, September Jacobsen, John McRaith I. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Don Schroeder, chairperson. II. Secretary's Report: The April minutes were examined. Darlene made a motion to approve the minutes and Barb seconded the motion. The motion was approved. III. Treasurer's Report: Postponed til June IV. Old Business A. Tours- Julie Jensen reported: Stars on Ice was a great success. Rightous Brothers was very good. No Tour in June. Harbor Cruise has a few openings. State Fair has plenty of openings. September mystery tour. B. Update on Programs- Discussion on who could be contact for more Travel at a Glance presentations. Julie will create a list for September to review. V. Business A. Sound System- Further discussion in regards to installation of the sound system on the senior side brought approval from the board to move ahead with the larger room. B. Discussion to have an open house the same day as the Sr. Expo VI. Adjournment: Warren made a motion to adjourn at 11:04 am with a second from Judy. The motion passed.
