Regular Meeting
May 30, 1995
All Commissioners were present; also present were Mgr. Kadrmas
and Counsel Prochnow.
President Cornell called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
The minutes of April 24, 1995, regular meeting were reviewed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by
Commissioner Gilmer to approve the minutes as written. Motion
was unanimously carried.
The April payables were discussed. A motion was made by
Commissioner Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Ward to accept
the April payables in the amount of $1,397,243.28 (detailed
listing in payables book). Motion was unanimously carried.
The 1995 year -to -date (thru April) financial and budget
reports were reviewed. A motion was made by Commissioner
Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Gilmer to accept the
financial and budget reports. Motion was unanimously carried.
Manager's Report:
1. In regard to checking account proposals, it was decided
to table this issue.
2. Reviewed an American Public Power Association summary of
1993 data on revenue per kilowatt -hour for utilities in
Minnesota.
3. The June regular meeting will be held on June 23, at 1:00
p.m.
Old Business: None
New Business:
Counsel Prochnow requested to attend an American Public Power
Association (APPA) seminar to be held in Minneapolis on July
27 - July 28. A motion was made by Commissioner Carls,
seconded by Commissioner Beatty to authorize Counsel Prochnow
to attend the APPA seminar in Minneapolis on July 27 - July 28
and Hutch Utilities would pay the seminar cost of $495 plus
any expenses. Motion was unanimously carried.
Commissioner Beatty's appointed term expires August 31, 1995.
It was suggested that the new commissioner have a financial
background.

There being no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner
Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Gilmer to adjourn the meeting at
2:25 p.m. Motion was unanimously carried.
