Regular Meeting
October 26, 1992
Commissioners Lyke, Cornell, Ward and Gilmer were present;
Commissioner Beatty was absent; also present were Mgr. Kadrmas
and Counsel Prochnow.
President Lyke called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
The minutes of September 28, 1992 regular meeting were
reviewed. A motion was made by Commissioner Cornell,
seconded by Commissioner Ward to approve the minutes as
written. Motion was unanimously carried. The minutes of
October 8, 1992 special (closed) meeting were reviewed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner
Gilmer to approve the minutes as written. Motion was unanimously
carried.
The September payables were discussed. A motion was made by
Commissioner Gilmer, seconded by Commissioner Cornell to
accept the September payables in the amount of $1,116,592.31
(detailed listing in payables book). Motion was unanimously
carried.
The 1992 year -to -date (thru September) financial and budget
reports were reviewed. A motion was made by Commissioner
Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Ward to accept the financial
and budget reports. Motion was unanimously carried.
Mgr. Kadrmas presented recommendation on bids for a 33,600 KVA
power transformer (bid tabulation attached). After discussion,
a motion was made by Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner
Cornell to award the bid for a 33,600 KVA power transformer to
Pauwels Transformers in the amount of $331,041. Motion was
unanimously carried.
Manager's Report:
1. Discussed border station vandalism that occurred on October 25,
1992.
2. Update on unit #1 (new generating unit).

New Business: None
There being no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner
Gilmer, seconded by Commissioner Ward to adjourn the meeting at
2:53 p.m. Motion was unanimously carried.
