May 5, 1987
All Commissioners were present; also present were Mgr. Hakel,
Counsel Peterson, Ivan Larson and Sue Winter.
President Daggett called the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m.
Comparable worth was discussed. A motion was made by Commissioner
Lyke, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to consider hiring a
consultant to help establish a comparable worth program. Motion
was unanimously carried. Mgr. Hakel was instructed to obtain
resumes from several firms.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lyke, seconded by Commissioner
Beatty to obtain the services of Associated Consultants for a
distribution study in the amount of $10,400. Motion was unanimously
carried.
Ivan Larson discussed the Integrated Transmission Agreement.
Counsel Peterson presented the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 17
RESOLVED, That the President, Vice President or Secretary
be and he hereby is authorized and empowered to enter into
and execute all aqreements and contracts necessary in order
to close the previously authorized and executed Sales
Agreement between the Hutchinson Utilities Commission and
United Power Association.
A motion was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by Commissioner
Lyke to accept the above resolution. Motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:30 a.m.
