All Commissioners were present, also present was Mgr. Alexander.
The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by President
Quade.
The purpose of the meeting was to further discuss the truck
bids that had been opened on April 11, 1980.
Mgr. Alexander discussed the financial status of the Utilities
and as to where funds could be taken. Further discussion
took place as to need of the unit, also as to the capabilities
of the unit as to capacity.
The Commission instructed Mgr. Alexander to research as to
the capacity actually needed in comparison to the weight of
the cargo.'
Mgr. Alexander asked the opinion of the Commission concerning
certain underground installations. Generally it was agreed
that where the Utilities go underground with a main line
(replacing overhead) they will furnish underground to the
meter only to each user.
A special meeting was set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, the 18th of
April to act on the truck bids opened April 11, 1980.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at
11 :20 a.m.
