Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
at President Sheppard's office on May 7, 1962 at 7130 P. M. I
Motion was made by Commissioner Kurth and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to issue a check in the amount of $2,210.00 to Carl 0• F.
Christensen, representing payment in full for excavating ground in
preparation for Service Building on warehouse site. Motion was
unanimously passed.
Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by
Commissioner Kurth to allow all employees time off from their regular
duties on Good Friday morning. Motion was unanimously carried.
Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded
Kurth to make a temporary transfer of $8,000.00 to the
Division account. Motion was unanimously carried.

Motion was Wade, seconded and unanimously carried to change the
salary of Elmer Berwald from $1.35 per hour to $300.00 per month,
effective May 15, 1962. Elmer Berwald to work for the Natural Gas
Division during the summer months.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Special Meeting
May 21, 1962
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
on May 21, 1962 at the Hutchinson Utilities Commission Billing
Office at 5 o'clock P. M.
All commissioners were present, together with R. We Dah1,,Secretary,
Leon Winters and nichard Strohmeier, both of Buell & Winter Engineer-
ing Company, Orin Rumage and Phil Graf.
Bids were received and opened for the mechanical construction in
connection with the Nordberg engine installation•.
