Special Meeting.
A special meeting of the Light & Power Commission was held at
X. I. Sheppard's office at 7130 on the evening of November 1, 1950•
All Commissioners were present, also Supt. Young.
A motion was made by A. J. Thompson and seconded by R. W. Dahl to accept
the bid of the Frank Motor Company for a one -half ton pick -up truck in the
amount of $860.00.
A motion was made by Commissioner Dahl and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to purchase a body, step and ladder rack for the truck from Chas.
Olson & Sons, Inc., Miizneapolis, Minnesota.
A motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commissioner
Dahl to purchase from Chas. Olson & Sons, Inc. a HD ladder (Aerial).
Motion was made and seconded to return all certified checks which
accompanied the bids on the one -half ton pick -up truck.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

at R. I. Sheppard's office at 7 :30 P. m. on November 6, 1950.

Adjourned Meeting.
The adjourned meeting was held at R. I. Sheppardls office at 7:30 during
the evening of November 8, 1950.
All Commissioners were present, also Supt. Young.
The motion was made by Commissioner Dahl and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to grant the following payroll increases. These increases to be
effective as of November 1, 1950• All salaries are now on a monthly basis
with the exception of Fisher and Schulte:

Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commissioner Daril
to purchase a boring bar.
Due to the fact that the City Council has requested a contribution to the
General Fund, a motion was made and seconded to contribute $5,000.00 per month
starting December 1, 1950 for the next four months.
