The Light Commission met at 8600 o'clock on the evening of the
above date at the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard, the president of the
Commission. R. I. Sheppard announced that the City Council had recom-
mended that the contract for the drilling of the test well be awarded
to G. B. Frederickson. After some discussion, motion was made, seconded
and carried that the bid of G. B. Frederickson be accepted and that he
be awarded the contract for the drilling of the test well in the South
Park and that the president and secretary of said Commission be authorized
to enter into a contract with said G. B. Frederickson for the drilling of
said test well.
Motion was made, seconded and carried that the deposits of the
unsuccessful bidders be returned to them respectively..
