Special Meeting.
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
on February 17, 1963 in the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard.
All Commissioners were present .
Motion was made by Commissioner Quade and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to give necessary protection for medical and hospitalization
to all employees.
Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commissioner
Quade to put the employees on a 44 -hour work -week effective April 1,
1963, time clock to be installed and effective by that Hate.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Special Meeting.
.4 special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held on
February 21, 1963 in the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard at 4;30 P. M.
All Commissioners were present.
The following companies submitted a bid on a truck for the distribution
system;
Moehring Motors $2,065.00
Plowman Motors 1,860.00
Myron Wigen Chevrolet 1,687.60
Motion was made by Commissioner Quade and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to accept the lowest bid, Wigen Chevrolet, for a Chevrolet
2 -ton Pickup. Bids on file at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing
Off is e.
Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commissioner
Quade to issue checks, to the Nordberg Manufacturing Company, one in
the amount of $20,000.00, payment on the mechanical contract; the other
in the amount of $20,000.00, payment on the basic engine contract.
Motion was made by Commissioner Quade and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to promote Hugo Mahs from Line Foreman to Superintendent
of the Distribution System at an increase of $40.00 per month.

Quade to pay for legal services rendered to the following:,
Felhaber, Larson & Fenlon $602.46
Stanton - Pittelkow & Assoc. $843.88
Motion was made b7 Commissioner wade and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to pay Elmer Berwald $50.00 per Y.ronth for janitor services
in the Utilities Billing Office, effective March 11 1963.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
