Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commission Quade to change the time of the regular monthly meeting from the first Monday of the month to the second Monday of the month. Zips Salary 115.26 Harriet Smutka Salary 27.60 Minutes of the last monthly meeting and special meetings were read and approved except the motion in the February 17th minutes regarding that part applying to the purchase and installation of a time clock. Motion was made by Commissioner Quade and seconded by Commissioner Thompson that the purchase and installation of the time clock be tabled for the time being. The motion was unanimously carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commissioner Quade to increase the Cash Fund $200.00 as the present amount does not enable adequate change to cash larger checks. Motion was un- animously carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Commissioner Quade to place Roman Zins on a monthly pay rate instead of the hourly rate. Motion was unanimously carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Quade, seconded by Commissioner Thompson, that coffee makers be installed in the warehouse, generating plant and offices the Hutchinson Utilities to pay for coffee and rolls as ordered by the employees. The motion was unanimously carried. 62. Supt. Young and Hugo Mahs were instructed to make studies re- garding the splitting of the load to the Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Plant. Mr. Gordon Bublitz, Manager cf Farmer's Co -op. Creamery, was in- vited to appear before the Commission at this meeting and discuss the electrical needs at the Creamery. A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held on April 19, 1963 at the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard. All Commissioners were present; also D. 0. Comer, Attorney. Motion was made by Commissioner Quade, seconded by Commissioner Thompson to grant the following raises, to be effective May 1,1963: Ralph Young 050.00 per month Webb Exum 550.00 per month Ruth Hak el 50.00 per month Bea Pollard 1 10.00 per month Cordia Rippe 15.00 per month The motion was unanimously carried. Mr. Comer was instructed by the Commission to write to Mr. Severson (Re: Union) inviting him to attend our meeting on Monday, May 13, at 5;00 P.M. Motion was made by Commissioner Thompson and seconded by Com- missioner Quade to take emergency measures regarding the repair of our well and secure the services of Frederickson h, Inc. at a contract price not to exceed $2,250.000
