Special Meeting.
The Hutchinson Utilities Commission of the City of Hutchinson met
at the Utilities Billing office on March 29, 1965.
All Commissions( /rs were present 4
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Quade to purchase a Federal Security in the amount of 25,253.75.
Motion was unanimously carried.
RESOLVED THAT, in accordance with the recommendations of the
Superintendent, and after investigation and consideration, the
following accounts owing by customers of the Utilities Commission
be charged off as uncollectable and as bad debts and that the
same be written off as of March 31, 1965, out of the current
earnings of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission:

Regular Meeting.
A monthly meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
on April 120 1965 in the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office.
All Commissioners were present; also Supt. Young and Webster Exum.
Motion by Commissioner Quade and seconded by Commissioner Tracy
to purchase a complete set of replacement aluminum main and crank
pin bearing shells for engine #7. Motion was unanimously carried.
Motion was made by Commissioner Quade and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy to grant an easement to the State of Minnesota .(Corner of
4th, Avenue North and Main Street.)
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Quade to adopt the following specifications:
Specifications for an approved space heating
installation under the Residential Electric
Heating Rate.
A. Customer must have a minimum of one water
heater, one range, plus 4000 watts of
permanently installed 120/240 volt space
heating or one room that electric heat is
the sole source of heating except that
provided by fireplaces.
B. Not more than 4500 watts shall be switched
at one time except by special permission.
C. No snow melting installations or other in-
frequently used loads will be allowed on
the electric heating rate except where
customer has an approved space heating
installation.
D. The Commission reserves the right to control
the space heating loads*
