Regular Meeting.
The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office on the 9th day of October,
1967 at four o'clock P. IVI.
All Commissioners were present; also Supt. R. E. Young.
The meeting was called to order by the
President and the
minutes of
the previous meeting; were read and approved
as read.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and
seconded by Commissioner Tracy
to invest $263,231.57 in a Treasury Bill
to yield 4.29%
and to mature
November 30, 1967. Motion was unanimously
carried.
The secretary informed the Commission that the League of
Minnesota
Utilities would meet in Minneapolis on
October 26th and
27th. Commissioner
Tracy made a motion, seconded by Commissioner
Filk, authorizing
the
secretary to take care of all necessar,r
reservations for
any Commissioner
at,le to attend. Motion was unanimously
carried.

The Commission discussed a proposed contract
with the Hutchinson
Telephone
Company relative to a charc;e for any use of our distribution
system- -
General Use Joint Contract. Motion was
Trade by Commissioner
Filk and
seconded by Commissioner Tracy to instruct Mr. Reyerson,
Commission's
attorney, to read the contract and at a
later date give
the Commission
