There being no further business, Commissioner H. W. Filk moved that
the meeting be adjourned. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Tracy
and unanimously carried.

Special Meeting
November 27, 1968.
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office on the 27th day of
November, 1968.
All Commissioners were present.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy to postpone the regular meeting, December 9, 1968, to
December 12, 1968 as some Commissioners would be out of town.
Motion was unanimously carried.
The Commission was informed by Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing
Company that their demand would change by 1970 from 6200 to
12,000 IEW.
In order to meet this demand, two alternates were discussed; to
purchase power or to install additional generating capacity at
our plant. Furthermore, if more capacity to be installed whether
it should be gas turbine or dual fuel engine.
Engineering firms were discussed and it was decided to interview
two f irms :
Pfeifer & Shultz, Inc.
Associated Consultants
There being no further business, Commission H. W. Filk moved

Tracy and unanimously carried.
