A special Meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office on the 16th day of January, 1969. All Commissioners were present; also William Eslik, Webster Exum, William Marquardt, De Wayne Rubedor and Orville Ruiken. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk to postpone the regular February meeting until February 20, 1969 due to the fact that two Commissioners would be unable to attend on the regular date of February 10, 1969. Motion was unanimously carried. 1 FJ 17. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk to call for bids on a trencher and back hoe. Call for bids to be published in the the Hutchinson Leader. Bids to be opened February 20, 1969 at 3:00 P. M. Motion was unanimously carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk that the Hutchinson Utilities Commission secure the services of Pfeifer & Shultz, Inc. and Associated Consultants to make a survey only at Hutchinson as to the needs of more generating capacity resulting from a request of Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company for a 3100 KW increase in load at their plant in Hute bins on. (1969- 1970). This action would not reflect on securing engineering services for any possible power plant improvements. Motion was unanimously carried. Resolved that, in accordance with the recommendations of the Superintendent, and after investigation and consideration, the following accounts owing by customers of the Utilities Commission be charged off as uncollectable and as bad debts and that the same be written off as of January 31, 1969, out of the current earnings of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission: Co -Bar Creations, Inc 1 -309 $ 1.13 Steven Hoffman 2 -30 19.45 Kenneth Peterson 2 -250 45.76 Eugene Crow 14 -83 23.89 Joe Pierson 19 -107 .17 There being no further business, Commissioner H.
