July 9, 1973
A regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission
was held in the Hutchinson Utilities meeting place at
2:00 P.M.
All Commissioners were present; also Manager Steve Wacker,
Willis Miller, LeRoy Christensen, Guy Field, and William
Schultz.
The meeting was called to order by President Quade.
A discussion was held with many questions asked by the
above delegation concerning the new rate and how it was
implemented. They left the meeting on a note of satis-
faction.
Minutes of the regular meeting of June '11, 1973, and the
special meeting of July 3, "1973, were read and approved
as read.
Bid openings for a transformer for Hutchinson Industrial
set for 2:00 P.M., August 13, 1973.
Manager Wacker gave a brief report on the General Electric
gas turbine unit.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Com-
missioner Tracy and unanimously carried that Manager
Wacker be authorized to send a representative to a General
Electric speed- troriic school at Chicago. Tuition at $750
for the course.
