Regular Meeting
May 13, 1974
The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was
held on May 13, 1974 in the Hutchinson Utilities meeting place
at 2:00 P.M.
All Commissioners were present; also Manager Steve Wacker,
Counsel Peterson and Superintendent Kuiken.
The meeting was called to order by President Quade.
Minutes of the regular meeting of April 8, 1974 were read and
approved as read. Minutes of the special meeting of April 11,
1974 were read and approved as read. Minutes of the special
meeting of April 15, 1974 were read and approved as read.
The monthly financial report was presented by Manager Wacker.
Counsel Peterson submitted final information regarding the
purchase of a building and property. Checks were issued in
accordance with the attached schedule.
Manager Wacker and Superintendent Kuiken presented a program
on telemetering. The program, as presented, was endorsed by
the Commissioners.
A plan regarding the reconstruction of the sewer system in the
generating plant was presented by Manager Wacker.
Manager Wacker discussed the need for a downtown pay station
in the future. After considerable discussion, it was decided
that one or more stations would be set up as needed.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and unanimously carried to send an employee to Memphis,
Tennessee on June 12, 13 and 14, 1974 to attend a natural gas
workshop sponsored by the American Public Gas Association.

Hutchinson Growth, Inc. shall be entitled to and will receive $1,000.00 in farm rent
due in the year 1974 on a certain three -year lease now in existence on part of the
above described property with one Harry Schlueter. In the year 1975 Hutchinson
Utilities shall be entitled to the rent under said lease on their portion of the
above described property on a pro rata basis and Hutchinson Growth shall be entitled
to the 1975 rent on that portion of the premises which they will continue to own.
Also, Hutchinson Utilities purchases the above described property subject to that
certain farm lease to Harry Schlueter.
It is understood that the hoist, air compressor and lines, together with all other

The buyer shall pay the real estate taxes due in the year 19 75 and any unpaid installments of special assessments payable there-
with and thereafter.
Seller covenants that buildings, if any, are entirely within the boundary lines of the property and agrees to remove all personal property
not included therein and all debris from the premises prior to possess ioni� ate. 9 1974
