Regular Meeting
June 18, 1974
Y All Commissioners were present; also Manager Wacker.
Meeting was called to order by President Quade at two o'clock P.M.
Minutes of regular meeting dated May 13, 1974 were read and approved
as read. Minutes of special meetings dated May 23 and May 28, 1974
were read and approved as read.
Manager Wacker presented a wage schedule for the entire Utilities
to be effective July 1, 1974. On a motion by Commissioner Filk,
seconded by Commissioner Tracy and unanimously carried, the schedule
was approved as attached.
Carl Wardlow and Robert Palmquist, of the consulting firm of Associ-
ated Consultants, appeared with blue prints for the new Utilities
Service Building. A discussion followed and it was decided to have
the Engineers revise their plans and return in the near future.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and unanimously carried to pay 6% interest on all meter
deposits effective July 1, 1974.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and unanimously carried to adjust the mileage allowance,
as per State Law, to 150 per mile as of this date.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and unanimously carried to send a delegation to the Minnesota
Municipal Utilities Association meeting to be held June 20 -22, 1974
in Rochester, Minnesota.
