Special Meeting
December 23, 1974
Commissioners Quade and Tracy, Manager Wacker and Counsel
Peterson were present.
Meeting was called to order by President Quade at 1:20 P.M.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner
Quade and carried to extend the ten day period for execution
of contract (on the building remodeling) for Dammann's
Construction Company, Lester Prairie, Minnesota, until January
2, 1975•
Meeting adjourned at 1:40 P.M.
Regular Meeting
January 13, 1975
All Commissioners were present, also; Manager Wacker and Counsel
Gilmer.
Meeting was called to order at 2 P.M. by President Quade.
Minutes of the regular meeting dated December 9, 1974 were read
and accepted as read. Minutes of the special meeting dated
December 12, 1974 were read and accepted as read. Minutes of the
special meeting dated December 23, 1974 were read and accepted as
read.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy
and carried to elect all officers to continue in their present
elected status.

A report by Counsel Gilmer was given on the progress of the
Worthington - Allis- Chalmers lawsuit. The consensus of opinion was
to move ahead rapidly to draw the lawsuit to a conclusion.
Manager Wacker gave a report on the fuel cost adjustment for the
quarter. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by
Commissioner Filk and carried to submit a request to the City
Council for a fuel cost adjustment.
Include the fuel cost adjustment clause on rate schedule GLIF 1 - ?3
(Large Industrial Firm). Reword GLCF 2 -73 (Large Commercial Firm)
to GSIF 2 -73 (Small Industrial Firm).
Manager Wacker gave a report on the financial condition of the
Hutchinson Utilities.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk
and carried to send employees to the Minnesota Municipal Utilities
Personnel Seminar to be held in Minneapolis, Feb. 3 -4, Feb. 6 -7.
Manager Wacker was delegated to attend a meeting with General
Electric in Schenectady, New York on January 21, 1975•
Motion by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy and
carried to purchase a 1962 Ford truck from the City of Hutchinson
for $1,36o.00.
