All Commissioners were present, also Mgr. Wacker; Don Swanson and
Bob Palmquist of Associated Consultants and Charles Wilson of
McCombs and Knutson also were in attendance.
The meeting was called to order by President Quade at 2 P.M.
Minutes of the Special Meeting of September 19, 1975, were read and
approved as read.
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 13, 1975, were read and
approved as read.
Minutes of the Special Meeting of October 15, 1975, were read and
approved as read.
Minutes of the Special Meeting of October 16, 1975, were read and
approved as read.
Charles Wilson of McCombs - Knutson appeared with an offer of $25,000
for the old Utilities office at 22 North Main in Hutchinson, Minn.
Discussion took place concerning the price.
A motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner
Filk, and carried, to sell the above mentioned building for the sum
of $29,000.00 to McCombs - Knutson, represented by Charles Wilson, who
acknowled the purchase.
Don Swanson of Associated Consultants reported on 3M's response to
our offer to sell steam. They felt they couldn't buy at the price
needed by the Hutchinson Utilities Commission. On a motion by Com-
missioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy, and carried, we tempor-
arily closed our file on the 3M steam project.
On a motion by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy,
and carried, the A & B Electric bill in the amount of $1,789.15 was
tabled pending further adjustments.
On a motion by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy,
and carried, the Oppenheimer bill was tabled until Counsel Peterson
confers with Oppenheimer et al concerning the method of payment.
On a motion by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk,
and carried, the Peterson and Gilmer bill in the amount of $137.31
was allowed.

A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and carried, to allow the bill from Associated Consultants
in the amount of $7,872.65.
Counsel Peterson appeared and reviewed the United Power Association
Interchange Agreement Supplement #2. Don Swanson of Associated Con-
sultants reviewed changes that have been made.
After discussion about the American Public Gas Association Defense
Fund, a motion was made by Commissioner Filk, and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and carried, to not pay the prorated share in the amount of
$273.68. The reason being that we support the Minnesota Public Gas
Association which in turn supports the American Public Gas Association.
Virgil Haugen of Electric Machinery appeared and made a presentation
concerning his product, stating that his unit could be used with any
power.

The meeting was called to order by President Quade at 11 a.m.
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by
Commissioner Tracy, and carried, to accept Supplement No. 2 to the
Inter change Service Agreement between Municipal Utilities Commission of
the City of Hutchinson and United Power Association as revised (copy
attached).
A meeting was set for 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 1975, for the
Commission and Staff.
The meeting adjourned at 11:40 a.m.
