R. W. Strohmeier was also present. The minutes of the meetings held November 7th and November 9th were read and approved as read. Commissioner Thompson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS: There has been a rapid growth of load at the Municipal Electric Plant since its inception, together with consequent increase in revenue and WHEREAS: such revenue is considerably in excess of requirements for maturing obligations, interest, operating expenses and a reasonable surplus, and since future revenue may reasonably be expected to be in excess of such requirements, and WHEREAS, one of the objects in the establishment of a Municipal Electric Plant was to furnish electric energy to the citizens of Hutchinson at as low a rate as compatible with financially sound operation, so as to allow freer use of the many conveniences afforded by its use, now therefore be it 1. Commissioner Dahl seconded the motion to adopt the said Resolution, and upon roll call the vote was as follows: Commissioner Sheppard Commissioner Thompson Commissioner Dahl Aye Aye Aye President Sheppard thereupon declared the said Resolution duly adopted. Mayor & Council of the City of Hutchinson, together with the recomendation that the rate schedule therein be approved 1 3. Resolved that all prior rate schedules in conflict with the above schedules are hereby voided.
