Monthly Meeting
January 8, 1945
The regular monthly meeting of the Light and Power Commission was
held at the Light Plant office at 5;00 P. M.
All Commissioners and Supt. Young were present.
The minutes of the December 4, 1944 meeting were read and approved.
Motion was made and unanimously carried that bid of Sterling Electric
Company of Minneapolis for enlarging switchboard and running another feeder
cable to the REA substation be accepted, also new cable to replace present
over head line is to be installed at the same time.
Motion was made and unanimously carried that Type LM derrick and
necessary equipment be purchased to equip the new GMC truck for setting poles.

A special meeting of the Commissioners of the Municipal Electric
Plant was held in the office of Dr. R.I. Sheppard on January 23, 1945 at
8;00 P.M. The following Commissioners were present; Dr.R•I•Sheppard,
Dr. A.J. Thompson and R. W. Dahl.
It was voted unanimously to increase the monthly wage as follows;
