07-07-2003 PRCEM MINUTES Parks, Recreation & Community Education Advisory Board July 7,2003 Members Present: Ralph Johnson, Mike Schiesl, Mike Cannon, Kirk Kosel, Bruce Peterson, Rev. Todd Ertsgaard, Bernie Miner and Bill Arndt. Guest present was Bill Carlson, High School Activities Director. Also present was Dolf Moon. The meeting was called to order at 5 :20 pm A motion made by Ralph Johnson and seconded by Mike Schies approved the minutes dated June 2, 2003. The motion passed unanimously OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS Middle Level Activities - Activities Director, Bill Carlson presented a plan to improve middle level activities. A motion was made by Jay Beytien to recommend that the Hutchinson School Board adopt the plan as presented by Bill Carlson. Mike Schiesl seconded the motion. The motion passed 8-0. Flooding - Reseeding of Veterans Memorial Field will take place in August and the Tartan Softball Field in Sepember. BOARD MEMBER ITEMS Bill Arndt asked about the Luce Line Trails status. Dolf will report at a future meeting. AJOURNMENT Chairman, Rev. Todd Ertsgaard, adjourned the meeting at 6:05pm. klm
