tasting event went well and September is considering a beer tasting event. “The
Young Victoria” was this month’s movie and was well received. A request for
a similar movie has been made for sometime in the future. Seniors traveled via
video to Canada and got a taste of Moose meatballs in the process. In
December the group will head to Alaska. The New Year’s party will be on
thst

Cloud” will be the movie for December. A dinner dance is scheduled for
th
January 19 and tickets are on sale. John Hassinger is promoting cross country
skiing and will attempt to form a club. The Book Club has decided to meet the
third Wednesday of each month now that Fridays are no longer an option. This
will begin in January. The knitters are making fingerless gloves which are on
sale for $5 each at the Center. It is time for seniors to renew their newsletter
subscriptions. They have a free alternative if they wish to receive the newsletter
by e-mail.
V.New Business
A.Street Renovation- The street to the north of the Senior Center will be repaired
in the next few months. This will clean up the rather messy area that exists
now. September will give updates as the project progresses.

entrance to the Center. September will follow up on this request.
C.Senior Advisory Board Members- Carrol, Rick and Harriet all have expiring

for another three-year term.
