made the motion to approve and June seconded the motion. Motion approved.
III. Treasurer's Report: A six month certificate of deposit was taken out for $10,000.
This will greatly improve our interest rate over a regular savings account. This past
month we had expenses of$651.59 and revenues of $1430.20 which included tax
preparation donations, the rummage sale, and sales of cards and Christmas Angel
crafts. The current balance is $13004.17 in savings along with the $10,000 CD.
Phyllis made a motion to approve the treasurer's report with a second from Liz
Tokarczyk. The motion passed.

out. A Mother's Day Bingo activity with cupcakes is being planned. Jerry
Brown will be making a presentation on garden myths on May 25th at 10:00 am.

C. Update on Wall Renovation - September reported that she is still looking for
someone to remove the wall. Estimate is about $2000. The decision was made
to just have one big room with no divider in it so that will save a lot of money
during the renovation.
V. New Business
A. Food Processor for Kathy- The staff made a request that the Advisory Board use
some of their funds from the garage sale to purchase a food processor for Kathy.
Since Kathy prepares so much of the food for various functions at the Center,
this would help speed up many of the tasks. June made a motion to approve
with a second from Liz. The motion passed.
B. Microsoft Word for Senior Computers- The computers available at the Senior
Center currently have internet access only. September requested that Microsoft
Word be installed on one of the computers so that users would have word
