Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m. There was a quorum of members present.
1. Approve Minutes of August 19, 2010 meeting
Motion made by Neuharth, second by McGraw to approve minutes. Unanimous approval.
2. Airport Commission

3. Review Updated Hangar Assignments

Motion made by McGraw, second by Brill to authorize private hangar lease transfer from Cheryl Dooley to Chery l

4. Operational Issues (Open Proiects)
a) 2009 Airport Improvements — Hangar
a. Olson reported on progress of placing of Life Link III building. Building was moved on Monday.
Electric & telephone hooked up on Monday. Water /sewer utilities connected on Tuesday. Natural
gas will be installed within the next week or so. All building systems are working properly.
b. Piers from old location will be chipped down to 8 -12" below grade before grading roadway.
b) Fuel System Upgrade
a. Olson reported that Mn/DOT submitted a grant amendment document, so that 50% of the price of
the tank repairs will be covered, along with 50% of the total software /system upgrade. This results
in approximately an additional $6,500 for the City of Hutchinson.
5. Future Proiects
2011 Airport Improvements — Crack sealing demonstration project scheduled for this fall. If successful, spray
injection crack repair may be used to minimize use of AIP funds. Project will be described to FAA during open -house
meetings for AIP funds scheduled for September 29.
South Taxilane Ditch. Consider authorizing contractor to lay and cover culverts so volunteer forces could haul
materials.
6. Other Discussions/ New Business
Discussion was held on the possibility of moving the light that is currently near the Life Link III office /quarters
to near the stop sign on the north end of the parking lot as it enters the apron area near hangar 44.
At 6:25, a motion to adjourn was made by Freeman, second by Neuharth. Unanimous approval.
