SPECIAL MEETING - HUTCHINSON CITY COUNCIL
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026 — 6:00 P.M.
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER — 6:00 P.M.
Council Member May called the meeting to order. Members present were Tim Burley and
Dave Sebesta. Members absent were Gary Forcier and Chad Czmowski. Others present were
Matt Jaunich, City Administrator and Melissa Starke, City Clerk.
(a) Approve the Council agenda and any agenda additions and/or corrections
The agenda was approved with no additions or corrections.
NEW BUSINESS
2. APPROVE/DENY RESOLUTION NO. 16074 — RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION
JUDGES FOR 2026 GENERAL ELECTION
Melissa Starke, City Clerk, explained that election judges for the November general election
must be appointed by October 9, 2026. Due to the list of judges recently being finalized and
the next regularly scheduled Council meeting being after October 9, 2026, this special
meeting was necessary to appoint the general election judges.
Motion by May, second by Burley, to approve Resolution No. 16074. Motion carried
unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Burley, second by Sebesta, to adjourn at 6:05 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
