Home My WebLink About08-14-2026 (Canvass Board)MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING — HUTCHINSON CANVASSING BOARD FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 2026 The Canvassing Board was called to order at 11:00 a.m. The following were present: Mayor Gary Forcier, Council Member Chad Czmowski, Council Member Pat May and Council Member Tim Burley. The following was absent: Council Member Dave Sebesta. Also present were City Administrator, Matt Jaunich, City Attorney, Marc Sebora and City Clerk, Melissa Starke. CANVASSING OF ELECTION RESULTS City Clerk Melissa Starke presented the Council with the abstracts of votes cast in the precincts of the City of Hutchinson for the Primary Municipal Election that was held August 11, 2026. Mayor Forcier proceeded to canvass the election returns of Precinct 1; Council Member Czmowski proceeded to canvass the election returns of Precinct 2; Council Member May proceeded to canvass the election returns of Precinct 3. The results of the election were declared and noted in Resolution No. 16064. Motion by Czmowski, second by May, to certify the election results as presented an declared in Resolution 16064. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Czmowski, second by May, to adjourn at 11:05 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
