I. Call to Order
EDA President Mike McGraw called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM.
II. Review Agenda— no action
Ill. Grant& Loan Applications
Childcare Business Development Grant Program

309 Boulder Street SW—Jordan Fank(9 slots open to public) $1,800
M/S/P: Czmowski, Daggett to approve both grant applications. Passed unanimously.
Sign &Awning Grant
Barbers on Main (Jonathon Lee)
18 Main Street North—Steve Gasser $1,911
M/S/P: Daggett, Czmowski to approve the grant application. Passed unanimously.
IV. Other Business
Staff gave a brief update:
■ City of Glencoe will be contracting with Community Economic Development Associates(CEDA)for
economic development services.
■ Purchase agreement for the 5th Avenue lot has been forwarded to Eric Labraaten
■ Hotel Developer is continuing to negotiate for the purchase of Koch Jewelry building
■ EDA continues to receive inquires about the Old Clinic Site on Franklin; until a Development Agreement
is signed the EDA will continue to send out information
■ There is a potential tenant for the Rite-Way building
■ Staff met with Tom Daggett to discuss next steps for the Hutchinson Manufacturing site
■ A company will be touring the Enterprise Center on Friday, August 2nd to determine what's needed to
make it suitable for food manufacturing
