12-04-2024 PRCEM Parks, Recreation &Community Education Advisory Board Meeting Minutes December 4,2024 Members present were Kyle Wendling, Liz Stearns, Margo Kaping, Chad Czmowski, Sara Pollman Staff present Lynn Neumann and Jody Harms. The meeting was held at the Recreation Center and called to order at 5:15 pm. Liz Stearns moved to approve the November 4, 2024, meeting minutes. Sara Pollman seconded the motion.The minutes were approved. Old Business PRCE Advisory Board Vacancies • Three residents turned in applications for the two open seats. • Eric Thovson and Ann Lamecker were chosen for the open seats. • Lynn will provide information regarding the terms for the advisory board members. Winter/Spring Brochure • The winter/spring brochure has been delivered to residents. • Registration opens online and in the PRCE office on December 11, at 9:00 am. VMF Project Update • Final grading is scheduled for this week(Dec 2-6). • Stadium installation is scheduled for December 4. • The completion date is scheduled for December 23. New Business 2025 PRCE Fee Schedule • The 2025 PRCE fee schedule was presented and discussed. • Fee changes: o Full Pool Rental increased $50/hr to$350/hr o The Church rental went from and hourly rate to a daily rate of$250 and $125 for pre-event day rental. o Shelters were evaluated and divided into 3 tiers. ■ Tier 1 -$75 most used with BR, electricity, and updates ■ Tier 2 -$50 BR and electricity ■ Tier 3 -$30 Shelter non/electric Board Member Items 1. Skating Pass and open skating on Sunday evenings during tournament weekends were discussed. 2. Chad mentioned the basketball hoops that were removed from the gym walls at the Recreation Center.
