MINUTES
Parks, Recreation & Community Education Advisory Board
February 3, 2020
Members present were Marsha Anderson, Chad Czmowski, Liz Marcus, Craig Juhnke, Tim Peterson and
Tiffany Barnard. Also present were Dolf Moon, Leslie Alberts, John McRaith and Marv Haugen.
The meeting was called to order at 5:15 pm.
A motion was made by Marsha Anderson to approve the minutes from the January 6, 2020, meeting.
Chad Czmowski and Liz Marcus motioned to approve. The board unanimously agreed.
OLD BUSINESS
A. Recreation Center Roof Project
a. 6 bidders for the project. Council approved bid for $895,000.
b. Project dates are April 27-August 10, 2020.
B. Senior Center Code of Conduct
a. Code of conduct was approved by City Council at the last meeting.
New Business
A. Facilities Report: Marv Haugen presented
B. Recreation Report: John McRaith presented
Board Member Items
A. Teen night at the Family Aquatic Center
a. Tiffany brought up the idea of a teen night once a month at the pool to keep kids
interested in using the facility.
