passed.
III. Monthly Sales Review: Card sales amounted to $78.60 for the month of October and
the tour for that month made a profit of $308.95. The goal is to run the tours at
break-even so this gives us a little cushion to use on a future tour.
IV. Business
A. Senior Center Tours- Julie reported that the visit to the Old Log Theater to see
th
“Once Upon A Mattress” was sold out. December 10 a group will head to the
Paramount Theater in St. Cloud for a presentation of “White Christmas” and a
th
chance to dine at the Coyote Moon Grill. The January 25 visit to Cold Spring,
to enjoy some music involving performers from Branson, sold out on the first
day tickets were offered. Valentine’s Day will bring a trip to the Ives
Auditorium in Bloomington for a Beatles review. Looking forward a bit, Julie
snatched up 45 tickets to “The Jersey Boys” which will be performing at the
th
Chanhassen Dinner Theater on June 28.
B. Update on Programs- The movie for November was “Elvis”. The screening was
well attended. The plan is to show “Gigi & Nate” in December. A movie is
presented on the third Wednesday of the month at 10:00a and 1:00p. An AARP
driving class was held with 17 people attending. This class will be held from
12-4pm in the future to better match the Senior Center’s hours of operation.
Bean bag/corn hole will be played at 10:30am on Mondays beginning December
thst
5. A DECKO party will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 21 so
it’s a good opportunity to try out the Senior Center’s newest game and hang
around for the movie. Connie is joining forces with Jenny to put together a
session on making Holiday Plates. This will take place on Wednesday,
th

finishing her second term on the board. A recommendation will be passed on to
the mayor for his approval.
